A Participative Touch-Film Project
by Muzak & Riha
8 – 20/11/2015

Opening: Sunday, 8th of November at 4.00 p.m.

SEEN UNSEEN SCENE is an intermedia project by Muzak & Riha. In search of pictures beyond the visible, a “Touch-Print-Graphic-Film” will be realized in cooperation with blind people in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.

Muzak & Riha work aside the safe areas of graphic reproduction and film. Working closely together with amateurs, the media are used and connected in a way that results in an excitingly fresh view. During the process, the media are literally fragmented into their separate pieces.

The exhibition SEEN UNSEEN SCENE PrintLAB in Progress at Dynamo Expo shows the intermediate result and a preview on the project which will obtain its final form in January and February 2016 at the Rijksmuseum Twenthe.

Dynamo Expo is located in a former transformer building – an industrial heritage site from the textile industry era – in Enschede, the Netassignment herlands. Since 2008 the building has hosted an exhibition space for contemporary art and design with focus on new talents from the Netherlands and Germany.
