Printmaking Symposium

November 12-15, 2015

in Bentlage, Rheine, Germany

Christine van der Heide was born in 1955 in Voorburg, the Netherlands. She studied at the AKI Academy of Fine Arts in Enschede. After her studies she started a design and print studio for fabrics, Studio BonBon, together with Alke de Kroes. The print studio closed in 1988 and since then she has focused on designing patterns on paper and the production of unique silk scarfs in the katazome method, a Japanese stencil dyeing technique that predates silkscreen printing.
